Refund policy

Refund Policy



Conditions of Returns:

  • Returns will not be accepted once the vehicle has been registered with the Department of Transport
  • Should you change your mind once a deposit/payment has been paid, you will be entitled to a 70% refund subject to the vehicle not being registered.
  • Special order items will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be done back by the same method payment originally paid with.


Faulty goods

All goods are sold with a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty

  • E-Gear will test the product within 2 working days of the fault being highlighted.
    • Once tested by E-Gear, we will open a case with the manufacturer and if the manufacturer opens a warranty case this does not mean they have accepted the motor-vehicle under warranty. They may decline warranty cover once they have received the item if it is not a fault covered under warranty.
    • The the device is sent to the manufacturer and it is not a fault covered under the manufacturer’s warranty there will be a £250 charge for transportation and administration for sending the device.
    • If after testing E-Gear finds it is not a warranty fault, the cost of the service will be charged for.
  • The following circumstances are expressly excluded from any warranty cover: 1. Any Physical Damage to any party of the Vehicle 2. Liquid Damage, 3. All Consumables (Break-pads and Bulbs) 4. Manipulation. 5. Usage beyond the manufacturer’s recommendation.
  • Warranty periods:
    • 1 Year: All Motorbikes and Mobility Scooters
  • Within the Warranty Period: We will assist with the repair of the motor-vehicle however due to it being a high value item we will not be able to offer a curtesy vehicle.
